HIGHLAND 4X4 RESPONSE

Hi all just to let you know we are going to try and set up a response team in the highlands we are going to meet up on 06/02/10 some where in Inverness any one interested please contact myself or Steve so we can try and get some numbers together

Hi I spoke to the Northern Constabulary & Highland Emergency planning to day and they are both very interested in us setting up a 4x4 response group

I have booked the meeting room In dows bar diner in hilton for the first highland 4x4 response meeting on the 06/02/10 at 2pm i hoping for a good turn out hope to see some of you there.

i will be there (unless working) are we going to go for charity status for this?

We possible will be lets get it started first

Thanks Jon we Andrew has been in contact with them and they are proving vey helpfull to us cant give to much away at the moment but it will all become clear at the meeting hopefully you can make it.

No probs , have been doing some reading myself , will be there, will be a bit grogy as nightshift the two nights before and back on nightshift that night.

Im sure you will be fine mate it will be good to see you again its been a while.

Just seen your post about the response team.
We are going to start building a Bothy in February as a meeting place for all the off-roaders who come along to inverness4x4adventure.
It will have a log burner ,table, sofas, drinks and snacks etc. That's just as a start. More will be added once it's up and running.
Would it be of use to you as a permanent clubroom for your meetings?
We would have loved to have come along to your first meeting but I see we have both chosen the same day to begin our new ventures!
