D FLEX DOUBLE SHACKLE

has any one used the double extending rear shackle D FLEX or similar on a leafer . i have seen some fitted on to zooks but that's all

this is ians zook this is fitted with the d flex

i am just wondering if they are legal to run on the road and will they pass a mot

Can't answer the MOT question, but thats impressive articulation, I say go for it and plead ignorance with the MOT!

Not sure either mate but wouldint be hard to find out i dont see why it wouldint pass MOT

Yes there will be no issues with an MOT. Can I ask what your planning putting them on eg: Zuk, Toy....... Are you looking at doing a spring over conversion too... And the tyre size your looking at....

Dependent on the options you are looking at an anti-wrap bar may be very important...

A friend has some fitted but still found the set-up to be flawed and modified them to rotate to. I'd advise buying ones that open and twist for best articulation. Or come through here take some measurements etc see them working and fab some up yourself or formulate a new plan.

i have seen the ones thats twist and you are dead right they certainly far superior i have a photo some were i will stick it up if i find it .

When you are going that far you will need them to twist to allow it all to work together
